Wow, hello everyone!

It's been a hot minute since I've posted on here!
In the (sorta) words of Justin Timberlake, I'm bringing XANGA BACK, YUP!

Mannn, it's been so long since I've blogged! I mean I've had my share of social networking sites but Xanga by far contains the most memory.  First there was Asian Avenue.  So cOoOL that even the non-Asians had one.  Bobby H was like whiteazndragon or something like that.  It was so hip because Asian people felt like they "belong" somewhere, haha.  At the same time I think the Hispanics had the "MiGente" page.  That's like a mixture of Myspace and Asian Avenue for Hispanics.  Pretty crazy.  Then the life-changing MYSPACE.  Man I was addicted to that site.  I updated/edited my page like errrday and it was pretty much my main means of communication.  It also didnt hurt that I had lots of friends on it.  However that's in the past and I ultimately deleted my account.  Primarily because I found a new site...a much more "secure and safe" site: Facebook. C'mon, I'm friends with people from Elementary School and teachers from High School.  The site does it all and it's definitely helping me keep in touch with people I would never physically talk to. Facebook also has been integrated into everyone's social life and has made a HUGE impact on pop culture.  Terms like "Facebook-official" and "status updates" is part of everyone's vocabulary. And speaking of an impact on vocabulary, another social networking site has gotten so popular that everyone is starting to use its signature words: Twitter.

OmG, foLLoW mE! I'm tWeEtiNg riGhT nOw aNd uPdAtinG fRoM mY cRackbERrY aNd/oR iPhoNe wiTh mY cOoL aPpS!

Okay.  So I may be exaggerating a bit, sorry! And definitely no hate to the Blackberry and iPhone owners!  I'm secretly bitter about not having a cool pocket PC  I have a twitter and I love to "tweet."  However I miss the old days when we used to EXPRESS how we feel via sites like Xanga and other blogging sites. Now it seems like, the shorter the better!  Maybe sometimes I don't want a word limit as to how I feel or what I'm doing and that's where Xanga comes in.  I can write a huge-arse entry and it wouldn't even matter.  It's awesome and in a way, I feel liberated. Actually, scratch that.  There's a fine line between the feeling of being liberated and nostalgia, haha.  Xanga just reminds me of the olden golden days.

Anyways.  I will try my hardest to update my Xanga page and possibly get back to blogging?  This should be interesting.  Let's see...what's new.  I'm 21 now! Woo hoo! I'm gonna be a senior at Virginia Tech..bittersweet so I'm gonna rage my hardest this upcoming year.  Also, I'm going to be extra-busy with fraternal things.  I'm going to Orlando in early-August for Convention as the Delegate for our chapter.  Should be fun and I am a little apprehensive to be hanging with the big leaguers of AKPsi.  I took Summer Session 1 this summer and now I am back home in NoVA just working and hanging out.  Lemme just tell you, the economy sucks and it's definitely making an impact as to how I'm spending my time (and money) haha.  But I'm just trynna have some fun!  I'm young and energetic, dangit! So that's been a bit of a challenge.

This year has been very interesting and I've been blessed in so many ways.  First off my family.  They are the one constant in my life.  Through the thick and thing they've always helped me and welcomed me into their arms.  Family is always first.  I love them.  Second, Justin  So so glad I found someone so different yet similar to me.  We're still learning about eachother and it's been a joyous ride so far!  He's helped me so much after my accident and he's been so supportive in everything I do! You da best baby! Thanks for everything.  Third, certain special friends, especially Monica!  Can't believe I'm living with this chica next year!  I don't think I've told you this but you're my guardian Angel.  You picked me up from the accident and hung out with me and drove me to eat some greasy delicious Burger King!  You are one tough girl and I'm glad to call you one of my best friends!  Our apartment is gonna be so pimp next year!  Can't wait til move-in day!  Lastly, my renewal in Faith.  If any of you knew me in High School, I was Miss Goodie Two Shoe Catholic Church Girl.  I used to commentate during the missal services and attended every Sunday.  At one point it started to go downhill and I stopped attending.  Probably one of my biggest regrets in life.  This summer I've been trying to get back on the routine of going to church every Sunday.  Especially since my accident on I-81, I know that God is watching over me.  If it wasn't for God, my accident could've been so much more severe.  I'm glad to be alive and I'm going to show that by renewing my faith.

A lot has changed and you know that's the only constant thing in life: Change. I'm going off on a tangent but in the sermon today, Father told us to be "ordinary people" and do "extraordinary things."  That opened my eyes a bit to see things in a bigger picture.

Until next time, good bye reader!  And comment and/or give eProps!
Thanks.
